AUDITION For JR/SR Teams

Our Junior Team is made up of dancers aged 9 to 15 years of age. Marvelous Motion holds auditions several times a year to give young dancers the opportunity to join this exciting group of talented boys and girls. The group receives direction and instruction from 5 different Directors of Choreography, giving them the unique opportunity to learn many aspects and styles of hip-hop. The word Junior only describes the age of these young people, definitely not their talent!

The Junior Marvelous Motion Team performs regularly at a variety of venues ranging from private parties to school events to corporate parties and promotions.

Some of the more notable performances of late have been the 104.9 Car Show, Dance Houston's Winter Formal at the Wortham Center and the NYC BIBI Magazine Show. More recently, Junior Marvelous Motion attended two full days of classes at Monsters of Hip Hop in Dallas. They performed in the Showcase on the Saturday evening as well as taking part in the Sunday auditions. Team member, Jesse Wade competed in the advanced section and impressed the judges enough to walk away with a scholarship to the renowned Millennium Studios in Los Angeles. On his website, Jesse credited his win to the training he receives from Moon Di.  

The Junior Marvelous Motion Team rehearse every Saturday from 12 - 3pm and attend many classes during the week. Rehearsal times increase when there is an upcoming event on the calendar

I am proud to introduce our company to you. This is Marvelous Motion Performing Arts Company. We won Dance Houston in 2006, we have modeled for Envy Houston Magazine and we have also participated in the famous television show "So you think you can dance". In addition, we have a great located studio which offers both professional dancers and models.

 

It would be our great pleasure to work with your company by providing dancers or models as well as offering the rental of our new, state of the art studio for rehearsals or parties.
